Schools lack basic facilities in Bambool

Despite tall claims of the government regarding provision of better educational facilities, government primary, elementary and secondary boys and girls’ schools situated in the rural areas of Bambool are deprived of basic facilities.
The locals complained that these educational institutions had only been renamed as model schools but the ground realities remained the same, which was badly affecting the future of students. No one ever bothered to improve the condition of these schools, negating the high claims of Khushab district government.
Talking to the media men social worker Muhammad Amin said many posts of teaching staff in the government girls’ elementary school Bambool had been lying vacant for the last 10 years. He said that due to unavailability of PST and EST and other facilities at the school hundreds of students affected by lack of teaching staff.
According to social worker Malik Qamar Abbas shortage of teaching staff, unavailability of furniture, washrooms and potable water are the main problems in Government Girls Elementary and Boys Secondary Schools of Bambool Thal. The government boys secondary school Bambool is without any boundary wall, he added. “It has been affected our education as the staff is insufficient for our schools,” students told the media men. The inhabitants of Bambool Thal demanded the government and authorities concerned of the Education Department to solve the problems of the educational institutions.
