Colombo- The Chief of Staff of Pakistan army, General Raheel Sharif, will reach Sri Lanka on Thursday ( June19) on a four-day official visit.
General Sharif is scheduled to meet the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in the afternoon on the day of his arrival.
The visiting top military officer will attend the Passing out Parade (PoP) of the country's premier Army training center for Officer Cadets, Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), at Diyatalawa.
During his stay in Sri Lanka, the Pakistan Army Chief will also meet the Secretary, Ministry of Defence and Urban Development, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army, Commander of the Navy, and the Commander of the Air Force, among others.
