LAHORE:– The independent candidate Riazul Haq who defeated the candidates put up by the PML-N as well as the PTI from Okara (NA-144) in Sunday’s by-election has been congratulated both by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan. The prime minister phoned the MNA-elect and reportedly invited him to join the PML-N. Imran Khan wanted the legislator-elect to join hands with his party. It is said that Riazul Haq is more likely to join the PML-N during the next few days.–STAFF REPORTER
