Blasphemous cartoons endanger French citizens, embassy and consulates in Pakistan

Islamabad- The security of the French embassy has been tightened after the intelligence agencies reported that lives of French nationals in Pakistan are in danger due to the reaction following the publication of blasphemous cartoons in the French magazine Charlie Hebdo.
According to reports, the intelligence agencies have reported to the government about the possible dangers to the lives of the French citizens residing in Pakistan due to the publication of blasphemous cartoons in Charlie Hebdo. The report states that the French embassies and consulates could also be attacked. Moreover, the officials of the special branch in Islamabad have been instructed to gather details of the French nationals in Pakistan.
