JACOBABAD- United States Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson has said that dialogue with the Taliban was Pakistan’s internal matter and America had nothing to do with it.
Talking to journalists during the inauguration of project regarding supply of potable water to Jacobabad, he said that he would not comment on the issue of Pakistan’s dialogue with Taliban, while also assuring America’s full cooperation over peace in Pakistan.
He also said that American President Obama had already clarified his definite policy over the issue of drone attacks, hence he would not even comment on that issue as well.
Referring to the project relating to potable water supply for Jacobabad, he said that the project will provide potable water to three million people at a cost of $ 36 million.
On the occasion, the American ambassador also visited the under construction project of Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS), being revamped with latest medical equipment to facilitate medical treatment for 1.2 million patients.
The impressive list of facilities provided at the institute include a latest laboratory, OPD, emergency department, mother and child care, maternity home, operation theatre, cardiac ward, liver treatments and intensive care units.
