ANP’s Haji Adeel dies of cardiac arrest

The senior ANP leader and former senator died in Peshawar today after having suffered from a cardiac arrest. It is reported that he also had kidney and liver complications, which had severely deteriorated his health.

Haji Adeel, 72 is survived by three sons and one daughter. His funeral prayers are to be offered today at 4:15 PM at Jinnah Park in Peshawar.

Haji Adeel was a prominent member of the ANP having served as MPA of NWFP (present day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) in 1990, 1993 (when he also served as finance minister) and 1997. He also served as the deputy speaker of the provincial assembly from 1997-1999.
