4 die in Muzaffargarh road crash

MUZAFFARGARH - Four people were killed in a collision between a speeding bus and a car at Jhang Road near Apalo Mills here on Wednesday.
According to detail, a Peshawar-bound bus hit a car at Jhang Road. As a result, Ghulam Abbas, Mustafa, Zahoor Ahmad and Muhammad Abdullah died on the spot. They belonged to Bahawalpur Sukha in District Multan. The bus driver fled the scene, while police have registered a case against him.
Eight bazaars to be set up in Ramazan: The district administration has announced the establishment of eight sasta Ramazan bazaars in four tehsils of the district during the month of holy Ramazan to provide the maximum relief to the public.
District Administrator Tahir Khursheed Ch said this while addressing a meeting of officials of departments concerned held here to review the pace of pre-Ramazan arrangements being made in the district.  He said that Ramazan bazaars would be set up in two in Muzaffargarh, three in Kotaddu Tehsil, three in Jatoi Tehsil and one in Alipur Tehsil. He urged to the traders’ community to extend support in this regard. Fair price shops will also be established in the market to provide daily-use items to the citizens during the holy month of Ramazan.
