Peshawar: Blast targets security forces

Peshawar- A remote-controlled explosion targeting security forces left two personnel injured on the outskirts of Peshawar today.
According to initial reports, the incident took place on Warsak Road where a blast occurred just after a vehicle carrying security forces passed by.
Officials said two of the personnel were injured. They were later shifted to Lady Reading Hospital before police and security forces cordoned off the area. According to experts of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), it was a remote-controlled blast. Police and security forces are frequently targeted by militants in Peshawar, the gate of lawless tribal agencies.
