PESHAWAR: A drone strike by the United States targeted suspected militant hideouts in the Shahidano Dhand area of Lower Kurram Agency near the border with Afghanistan, killing three suspected militants and injuring another one.

 According to reports today, the drone fired four missiles at militant hideouts. Three militants were killed and another was injured, who was shifted to Doaba Hospital. Three hideouts of militants were destroyed, security sources said, adding that two vehicles were also damaged in the strikes.

 “The hideouts were being used by terrorists for cross-border movement,” the sources said. The drone, hovering at low altitude, created panic and fear among the local people.
