Terrorist attack on Saudi mosque condemned by Pakistan

Islamabad:  Pakistan strongly condemns deadly terrorist attack at a Mosque in Qadeeh during Friday prayers, which resulted in the loss of several valuable lives and injuries to scores of people.

Social media’s updates revealed that there were about 30 casualties, while several people have been injured in the attack.

Spokesperson at the Foreign Office said that the people and the Government of Pakistan wish to convey their heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for speedy recovery of the injured.

“We share the grief of the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over this cowardly and deliberate attack against innocent civilians.”
Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the spokesperson added.

Pakistan itself has been witnessing terrorism since long. In the country several incidents of mosques attack in the tribal areas, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and other parts of the country were targeted killing innocent people. Some time minorities belonging to other religions are also not spared, though situation has started improving after Pakistan launched comprehensive operation, Zarb-e-Azb, against terrorists.

A section of Muslims suspects foreign hands behind such incidents.
