The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Tahir Akram, the Director General (DG) of NADRA.
He has been arrested in order to be interrogated for his alleged involvement regarding embezzlement of rental apartments funds.
According to the FIA the NADRA chief has caused a loss of Rs30 million to the public exchequer.
