Arrangements for Eid Milad finalised

SIALKOT - The people will celebrate Eid Milaadun Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) with religious reverence and fervour on 12 RabiulAwal renewing the pledge to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in letter and sprit.
The day will begin with special prayers for peace, unity and brotherhood amongst the followers of Holy Prophet (PBUH). The police and law enforcement agencies have made special security arrangements to ensure peace and maintain law and order across the district on the occasion.
The religious parties would arrange Seerat Conferences, special ‘Naatia Mushairas’ and quiz programmes on Seerat-e-Mustafa (PBUH). All major government and private buildings, residential and commercial plazas, markets, mosques, roundabouts and even houses have been tastefully decorated.
Mahafil-e-Milad and public meetings will be held in different parts of the district, while faithful will actively participate in the programs organized by different local, religious and social organizations.
Naat and the Holy Quran recitation competitions will also be held throughout the district to revive the real spirit of Islam and offer respect to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
 Milad processions will be taken out from different areas of the district and selected Ulema will present their articles on “Preaching strategy in the light of Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings.” For the faithful, Eid Milaadun Nabi (PBUH) is a highly regarded religious festival when they express gratitude and thanks to Allah Almighty for blessing the universe with His last messenger Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
