Few hours after stage actress Kismat Baig succumbed to her wounds at a hospital in Lahore, fellow artistes blocked Mall Road and demanded justice from the government.

According to Waqt News, several artistes gathered on Lahore’s Mall Road to record their protest over the death of Kismat Baig, who was shot eight times earlier in the evening.

The actress was travelling with her driver and personal assistant when unidentified gunmen opened fire, critically injuring Baig. The driver and personal assistant also sustained gunshot wounds.

Kismat Baig was moved to the emergency ward at Services Hospital after the incident where she succumbed to her injuries.
