Peshawar- At least 35 militants were killed today as Pakistan armed forces carried out fresh airstrikes in North Waziristan tribal agency bordering Afghanistan. According to a statement by Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), hideouts of militants were bombed in Datta Khel area of the North Waziristan Agency as part of the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb.
At least 35 militants including some foreign terrorists were killed. More than 1,000 Taliban militants have been killed since the start of operation.
