ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday granted the status of state minister to party leader and MNA Marvi Memon with immediate effect.
The PM granted this status in exercise of powers conferred by the rule 15(1)(g), read with item at serial No. 1A of Schedule-VA of the Rules of the Business, 1973.
Currently, Marvi Memon is serving as chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
