Supreme Court takes notice of the alarming increase in child kidnapping and ransom cases in Punjab, reported Waqt News. Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has summoned IG Punjab on 28 July, to give a detailed report on issue. According to sources, CJP has showed concern and wants the law enforcing agencies to take immediate action.
Since June 2016, 652 children have been kidnapped from Punjab.
