Zardari left country on Nawaz’s advice: Sheikh Rashid

Islamabad: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid has claimed that former president Asif Ali Zardari, left the country on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
While talking to reporters today, Rashid said “Nawaz while rejecting the Iftar-dinner invitation of Zardari, sent a clandestine message to him assuring him of continuing the reconciliation policy.”
He said that Nawaz advised Zardari to leave the country immediately, before he got into trouble.
Rashid said that the army was tightening the noose around corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in Karachi, which has panicked them. The AML chief demanded that the government formed a commission, to investigate the allegations broadcasted by the BBC against the MQM.
He said that the Sharif brothers have been exposed, after their claim of launching energy projects flopped.
