Article 2 challenged in SC

ISLAMABAD - A petition has moved in the Supreme Court, seeking interpretation of Article 2 of the Constitution in accordance with the ideology, vision, thoughts and imagination of Quaid-e-Azam, the founder of the country. Raja Nathaniel Gill has filed the petition under Article 184 (3) of the Constitution, making Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs as respondent. In the petition, he had quoted so many speeches of Quaid-e-Azam. He stated that Quaid never wanted that Pakistan become theoretical state, adding Article 2 was against the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam.
