our staff reporter FEROZEWALA Masked gunmen wounded two people sitting near the parking lot of DHQ Hospital Friday. Unidentified armed motorcyclists attack injured retired health official Chacha Sharif and his friend who were sitting near the parking lot of the hospital. The injured were shifted to the DHQ Hospital where Sharifs condition was stated to critical. The incident triggered panic among the people there. The motive behind the firing could not be ascertained as yet. The A-Division Police were investigating. A local welfare body president, HGR Shahzad, condemned the incident and demanded enhanced security around the hospital to avoid such attacks in future. Altercation: After an altercation between two religious groups, DCO Ibrar Mirza ordered the personnel concerned to seal a mosque in Bihari Colony. Crackdown on profiteering: Assistant Commissioner Rashid Irshad along with TOR and other staffers conducted raids in various areas.
