The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) claimed to have caught police Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) namely Muhammad Nazir red handed accepting bribe.
The ACE Circle Officer said that the ASI was arrested red handed when he was taking Rs100,000 in bribe from a citizen. He said that Khalid, a resident of Chak 397/JB complained to ACE authorities that ASI Nazir was demanding Rs100,000 in bribe to declare his relative Tayyab arrested in a case as innocent.
A case has been registered against accused with ACE police station.
