PM advises legislators to focus on development & welfare projects

ISLAMABAD:  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said the government is proactively pursuing development and reforms agenda to improve the living standards of the people.

The government and its team are working for the betterment and uplift of the masses, and enabling the people to exercise their fullest potential for progress and prosperity of the country,” the Prime Minister stated in a meeting with Mr. Azhar Qayyum Nahra (MNA - NA 100) and Mr. Rana Muhammad  Hayat Khan (MNA- NA 142) separately called on him at the Prime Minister House.

The Parliamentarians apprised the Prime Minister about the ongoing development work, welfare schemes and political issues in their respective constituencies.

Both the MNAs appreciated the leadership of the Prime Minister for putting the country on the path of development.

The improved security and initiation of massive infrastructure development projects across the country are unique achievements of the government, said the Parliamentarians.

The Prime Minister said that the present government is committed to improve the living standards of the people of Pakistan. We are proactively pursuing our development and reform agenda and all our energies are focused at improvement in the standard of living of common man, the Prime Minister added.

The PM advised the legislators to focus on the development and welfare issues of their people, without getting distracted by the political opponents who only want to derail the country from the path of progress and prosperity only for their own vested interests.
