Our Staff reporter NANKANA SAHIB - Nazria Pakistan Trust Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Daily TheNation Majid Nizami has stated that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah materialised the dream of Pakistan through day and night struggle in just six years after the concept was presented by Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Mr Majid Nizami made the remarks in his audio address to Pakistan Paindabad Conference held here at District Council Hall Nankana under the auspices of Nazria Pakistan Trust on Tuesday. It was the 5th conference organised of the NPT as four such conferences had already been held in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Sialkot. The holding of Pakistan Paindabad conference aims at ending hopelessness among the masses and steering the nation out the prevailing state of despair, the NPT chairman revealed, adding that the NPT would organise more such conferences in other cities across the country to educate people about the creation of Pakistan and prepare them to work for its development and prosperity. Majid Nizami appreciated Chief of Army General Parvez Kayani for his befitting reply to Americans after their threats to attack Pakistan. Americans, their allies and other anti-Pakistan forces are planning to snatch nuclear capability from the only Muslim atomic country in the world, he pointed out, adding that they were living in delusion. The NPT, Majid Nizami explained, was striving to turn Pakistan into an Islamic, democratic and welfare state which was the dream of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. The PML-N and Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran District Nankana also collaborated in the organisation of the conference. Grandson of Allam Iqbal (poet of the east) Advocate Waleed Iqbal and Nazria Pakistan Trust Vice chairman Dr Muhammad Rafique graced the occasion with their presence as chief guests. A large number of PML-N district office-bearers and traders, boys and girls students, lecturers and notable personalities of the district including, PML-N District President MPA Rana Muhammad Arshad, MPA Tariq Mahmood Bajwa, Rai Safder Ali Kharal, Imtiaz Kehlon, Tahir Miraj Gujjer, Market committee administrator Dr Rao Abdul Salam, President Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran Sh M Tariq, JS Sh Shahid Mahmood, Vice President Ch Arif Rustom, Irfan Mahmood Goga, Khan Baber Khan, Rana Tariq, Sh Riaz Hakeem, trader and Sikh leader Sardar Mustan Singh and Sh Ali Rizwan also attended the conference. Speaking on the occasion, MPA Rana Arshad said that American threats to Pakistan would be well answered together as a united nation by fight the American and Nato forces shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakistan army. He lamented that the federal government was corrupt team which had been weakening the countrys foundations through their corruption in the name of democracy. Several national good earning corporations like Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Steel Mills, PIA etc have become white horse and burden on the national exchequer solely due massive corruption, he claimed. The MPA argued that world community was reluctant to assist and support the flood hit people due distrust and rampant corruption. In his speech, Advocate Waleed Iqbal said that Pakistani nation had great potential and good talent and what they needed to get removed the feelings of hopelessness prevailing among the masses, especially the youth. The prevailing state of affairs of the country has frustrated and disappointed the youth the most to whom the nations future was linked, Waleed Iqbal pointed out, adding that all and sundry would have to realise the gravity of the situation and play their due role to steer the country out of the quagmire of crises. The participants gave him standing ovation when he came for delivering his speech. He appreciated the participation of the PML-N workers and stressed the importance of the participation of the leaders and workers of other political parties including the PPP, PTI, PML-Q, MQM and JI particularly in such conferences, remarking that they were as good and patriotic as the participants. The grandson of Allama Iqbal said that after 64 years some anti-Pakistan and Muslim elements were sowing frustration and hopelessness among the patriotic people of Pakistan that creation of Pakistan was a temporary state and would disappear from the map of world. On the occasion, he declared that Pakistan came into being for existence forever and by the grace of Allah Almighty it would achieved the stage and goal of the leadership of the world. Addressing the participants, NPT Vice Chairman Dr Muhammad Rafique said that a nation with 190 million population having believe in one Allah (Tauheed Parast) couldt be defeated by any super power or with the help of his allies in the world. Our public must realize our geographical position and its advantages. We have the biggest youth force in the world which could utilized for the betterment of the masses of the country. Later, Dr Rafique took oath from the all participants that they would be sincere and work for the betterment of the country and would be available to give their blood if needed for Pakistan. MPA Tariq Bajwa, Advocate Shah Nawaz, Rai Safder Kharal, Sh Shahid Mahmood, Tahir Miraj Gujjar and others also addressed the conference. On the occasion, Nazria Pakistan Forum Nankana District members were also announced.
