No proof of alleged rigging witnessed in NA-98: Election Tribunal

Lahore: Election tribunal today disposed of the petition challenging the electoral verdict in NA-98.

ET’s judge Kazim Malik dismissed the plea stating that no proof of alleged rigging was witnessed in NA-98 during investigation; therefore, the plaintiff has no right to challenge the membership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N’s) Tariq Mahmood.

Earlier, the petition was filed by the leader of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Imtiaz Safdar.
