Kohat UET students out to secure future

PESHAWAR - Students of the University of Engineering and Technology Kohat campus on Thursday set up a protest camp against the university administration here outside the Peshawar High Court.
The protesting students holding placards and banner inscribed with slogans against the indifferent attitude of the university administration. Chanting slogans against the authorities concerned, they also held a set-in in front of the apex court building.
The protesting students were of the view that they were taught complete courses of Electrical Communication Engineering but now they were compelled to study extra course.  They said that they were taught complete seven courses as per the university syllabus and two semesters' exams have also been taken from them. The UET Kohat campus students termed it injustice and a joke with the future of students because of the incompetence administration.
"We have been waiting for our degrees for the last seven months and now the UET administration has started new experiments with the future of students," they lamented. They also complained that no body showed interest to resolve the problem despite the fact that they contacted with the provincial government and governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but now compelled to appeal to the apex court to take notice of it.
