RAJANPUR - DG Khan Commissioner has directed the contractor to complete the Jampur Bypass and model village projects on war-footing. He issued the directives during a stopover in Jampur en route to Rajanpur. He advised the contractor of under construction bypass and model village to complete the project as soon as possible. He visited the bypass and warned against the use of substandard material in the construction work. He also directed the contractor of Sheroo Dyke to re-construct the dyke following a host of complaints regarding the use of substandard material. On the occasion, the commissioner pledged all out efforts to protect the city against the floods. Power suspension: The Mepco Rajanpur XEN issued power suspension schedule here on Wednesday.According to the schedule, electricity supply from Grid Station 66 kv and 132 kv will be remained suspended from 5:00am to 9:00pm on Thursday (today) in connection with repair and up-gradation of these grid stations.
