Five terrorists have been killed in an operation by the Counter Terrorism Department in Kunjah area of District Gujrat today, reported Radio Pakistan.

Heavy arms and ammunition were also recovered from them. Search is underway for arrest of three other terrorists who managed to escape during the operation.

The terrorists belonged to a banned outfit and were planning to target sensitive installations in Gujrat and Kharian.
