Islamabad- Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent US drone attack in South Waziristan.

At her weekly news briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson, Tasnim Aslam said that Pakistan had consistently considered these strikes a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

She said Pakistan is already taking decisive action against militants. Therefore, these strikes are unnecessary and should be stopped.

Earlier this morning, at least four suspected militants were killed in a US drone strike in Wana, a town of South Waziristan.

According to security officials, the US drone targeted a house in Azam Warsak area, killing at least four suspected militants including an Arab commander.
