RAWALPINDI- In the wake of tense situation in Islamabad, Pakistan Army today cancelled its Defence Day ceremony scheduled to be held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. Federal ministers and all three services chiefs were due to attend the event. The violence in Islamabad last night erupted after around 25,000 people marched towards the Prime Minister House. Police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets.
