Indian firing kills two Pakistani soldiers

SIALKOT- Cross-border firing between Pakistani border guards and Indian Border Security Force personnel today killed two soldiers in the Shakargarh sector of Narowal district, a Chenab Rangers spokesman said.

The soldiers killed included Naik Riaz Shakar and Lance Naik Safdar of Chenab Rangers. The spokesman added that the exchange broke out ahead of a flag meeting ceremony in the sector.

Border tension has increased hostilities between the two countries with both accusing each other of initiating the firing.
