Holding of black day by the Kashmiris show, India can not occupied Kashmir for a long time: Ali Raza Syed

Chairman Kashmir Council EU and International Council for Human Development (ICHD), Ali Raza Syed said, holding of black day by the Kashmiris on the Indian Independence day show, India can not occupied Kashmir for a long time. Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir and other parts of the world observed 16th August, the Indian independence day as black day. A large number of Kashmiris expatriates assembled in capitals of different countries of the world and staged a demonstrations against continued illegally occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India. In a statement Ali Raza Syed condemned the continuously killing of the kashmiris by the Indian forces. He termed the killings as barbaric. "The occupation authorities have given the troopers a free hand to undertake genocide of Kashmiris," he said. He maintained that the use of brute force by India could not suppress Kashmiris' determination to get freedom from Indian bondage. He said, it is regrettable that Kashmiri youth are being killed on the daily bases but International community has salience on the events. Two more innocent Kashmiri youth, Irshad Ahmad Latoo at Lasibal and Umar Ahmad Dar have been killed respectively in Annatnag (Islamabad) and Narbal areas by the Indian troops. He stressed the need of a grand initiative by the international community to address the human rights' crisis created by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. He also emphasised that the best democratic way to resolve the Kashmir dispute was to hold plebiscite in the territory. He urged international human rights organisations to pressurize India to stop the reign of terror unleashed by Indian troops in the occupied territory and redeem the right of self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
