PESHAWAR - Unknown miscreants attacked a police checkpost with four rockets resulting in slight damage to various buildings at midnight Wednesday. The police said that the miscreants' target was the Siphon checkpost located in the limit of Badhbare police station. Fortunately the attackers missed their target and all of the fired rockets only hit the boundary wall of the check post and walls of the surrounding houses. The incident took place at 2:30 am Thursday. However, no loss of human life was reported. The rockets exploded with big bangs and blasts were heard all over the town, spreading wide panic and fear among the people. The Badhbare Police have registered an FIR against the unknown miscreants and have started investigations. Meanwhile, the administration of the narrow tribal strip of Dara Adam Khel claimed apprehending a tailor involved in sewing and preparation of jackets for the suicide bombers. The officials informed that tailor master Zewar was apprehended on pointing by informers of the area. Since a long Zewar was involved in facilitating the bombers with jackets, packed with explosives. It may be mentioned here that for the first time the custodians of law and order have claimed apprehending a tailor, who according to them was involved in sewing of the jackets. The security forces with the help of tribal elders of Dara Adam Khel are engaged in operation against the alleged militants. In this respect, house of a notorious militant commander was demolished with explosives in Akhorwal area.
