Heat wave intensifies across Pakistan

Lahore- High temperature and electricity shortfalls today troubled people across the country. In Sibbi, where the temperature touched 49 degrees Celsius, five people fell unconscious owing to the heat.

Also, the heat wave claimed the lives of four children in Tharparkar. According to the meteorological office, temperature rose to 44 degrees Celsius in Dalbandin and Nokundi, 46 in Lasbella, 45 in Turbat and 39 degrees Celsius in Quetta.

Moreover, reports predicted pre-monsoon rains in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala and Peshawar.
