LAHORE – Fazal Memorial Cricket Club Lahore defeated Baloach Cricket Club Quetta by seven wickets in a friendly fixture here at the Shah Faisal Ground Model Town. Baloach Cricket Club Quetta won the toss and elected to bat first. They played sensible innings and posted 251 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 35 overs. Ilyas played a sparkling 116-run innings and was ably assisted by Shahid who slammed 52 runs. Kamran Khan (3-30), Saifullah (3-35) and Liaqat Sultan (2-15) bowled well for Fazal Memorial Cricket Club. In reply, Fazal Memorial Club achieved the required target for the loss of three wickets in 23 overs. M Irfan Senior smashed superb ton (111) and was ably assisted by Fawad Khan (39) and M Irfan Junior (18). Shakeel took two wickets for Baloach Cricket Club Quetta.
