Ghauri Football Club beat Falcon FC 2-0 in the Ghauri Football Challenge Cup 2013 fourth and last quarterfinal match.
Ghauri FC were the strong favourite to make it to the semifinals, as they had some quality players in their ranks. Ghauri strikers lived up to the reputation and scored the opening goal in the 12th minute through striker Shehzad. Despite dictating the terms throughout the first half, Ghauri FC failed to score in the first half.
Second half started at a brisk pace, as Falcon FC players finally settled down and created some good moves but Ghauri defense was up to the mark. Ghauri FC played with firm control and authority and their pressure paid off in the 77th minute when Ahmad scored the second goal.
, which was enough to take Ghauri FC into the semifinals.
First semifinal would be played between Ravi FC and Ghauri FC on 26th, while the second semifinal would be played between Quaid-i-Azam FC and Mehran FC on 27th.
