Grouping in Pakistan cricket team confirmed

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan cricket team, playing World T20 in India, is clearly divided into two groups, a reliable source confirmed on Thursday.
Talking to The Nation on condition of anonymity, a reliable source, who is regarded as one of the best cricketers of the country, confirmed that a five-man powerful group has surfaced in the team, which includes the likes of tainted M Aamir, Wahab Riaz, Ahmed Shahzad, who was one of the most close aides of Shahid Afridi in very recent past, Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik. The source said that they were involved in the shameful act of not only letting down Boom Boom Afridi, but also inflicting huge damages on Pakistan in particular.
"It was time and again feared that who will guarantee that M Aamir will not repeat the same mistake again. But Najam Sethi always advocated for him and was highly instrumental in paving the way for Aamir's return to the national team,” he added.
The source said that all these fears were proved right by Aamir who once again stabbed in the country in the back. "Aamir bowled with much venom and pace in the first two matches, but all of a sudden, he was not even close to what he had displayed since his return to international cricket," he expressed his astonishment. “Same is the case with Wahab Riaz, who is a liability for the green caps since long, but reasons best known to PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan and chief selector Haroon Rasheed, Wahab always managed to book a place in playing XI despite being a super flop for the last one-year or so," said the source.
He further confirmed that two of the players Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal not only called the source from India with the aim to get his backing. "They were praising Shoaib Malik and pleading their innocence, denying their role or any involvement in the grouping," he revealed, adding that he not only refused to help them but also reminded them about the players who had done the same thing against former captain Younus Khan.
He revealed that the players were scared, especially after the rumours surfaced that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was taking things very seriously and tremendous pressure from Prime Minister House had put the players on the back foot. "It is very unfortunate that some players, just for their personal ego and grudge, never hesitate in inflicting huge damages on the national cause," he regretted.
The source further said: "I am quite sure, the PCB is not going to take any serious action against the culprits and players involved in damaging the national cause. It is the national and moral duty of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is also patron of PCB to take stern action against the players responsible in bringing bad name to the country.
"The Prime Minister should order formulation of highly-empowered probe committee, based on former Test players of great reputation and having no fear and pressure of any one to submit a report regarding failure of Pakistan team in World T20 and a stern action is taken upon their recommendations and the players involved in underperforming, must be given exemplary punishments so that no player may dare to do so in future. It is the only way of burying this menace once for all, or else, the masses should be prepared for such bad things in future too," the source concluded.
