ISLAMABAD – A penalty taken by Bilal Butt helped Islamabad Academy beat Ghauri FC 1-0 in the IFA A Division Football League 2013 Pool A match Sunday. Bilal scored the only goal of the match in the 48th minute on a penalty kick, as he was fouled by the opponents’ defender. In the second match of the day of Group B, Huma FC thrashed Evergreen FC 5-0 in a one-sided affair. Ali scored a brilliant hat trick. He scored in the 15th, 22nd and 55th minute, while Adnan Ali and Baqir also scored a goal apiece in the 60th and 62nd minute to ensure a comfortable victory for one of the football power houses of the federal capital. The margin of defeat could be further embarrassing for Evergreen FC had Huma FC strikers not missed some golden goal scoring opportunities.–Staff Reporter
