ISLAMABAD  – Pakistan Institute of Medical sciences (PIMS) is to install a new exchange worth Rs 450 million.

The decision has been taken by departmental working committee of PIMS after failure of its inter-telephonic exchange. The current telephonic exchange has been quite emburdened by introduction of new hospital blocks like cardiac center, burn center and others

Replacements would also entail new telephone sets in the project, approval for which has been sought from planning commission; while all expenses would be borne out of hospital’s own funds.
