MULTAN: The Cotton Crop Management Group’s first meeting will be held at Central Cotton Research Institute Multan on April 4. The district-wise sowing of cotton, area  

targets, activities of agriculture department, weather condition, availability of canal  

water, availability of fertiliser and pesticides and others would be discussed in the CCMG’s meeting. Secretary Agriculture Punjab Muhammad Mahmood, Director  

Generals Agriculture, CEO MEPCO, other officials from department concerned and representative of growers association would attend the meeting.–APP  

Deputy Directors Agriculture (Extension) from cotton areas would also participate.
