Attock receives Rs500m reward for achieving 1st position in Clean and Green Pakistan project

ATTOCK - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam on Wednesday said that the federal government on special directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved an amount of Rs 500 million for the provision of clean drinking water and solid waste management as a reward for Attock for achieving the first position in Clean and Green Pakistan project. Executed by MOCC (Ministry of Climate change), this project will include disposal of solid and water waste, rehabilitation of 30 tube wells and solarization of water filtration plants in Attock. Five large and 30 small dumpers, 900 small and 100 large bins will be purchased and three recovery centres will be established where all the solid and water waste will be recycled while a dumping site over an area of 70 Kanal will also be set up, he said.
