PCB chief urged to host some PSL matches in Peshawar

LAHORE - Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to host some of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Peshawar. He said this during the Waqt TV programme “Game Beat”, adding a huge number of Zalmi fans belong to Peshawar and they want to witness their heroes in action at their home grounds. “PCB chairman Najam Sethi must ponder over it while regarding up-gradation of Peshawar Stadium, I will talk to KP government. Cricket-crazy Pakistani nation want to see PSL matches to be played in the entire country,” he added.
