LAHORE - Nishtar Basketball Club defeated Usman Club and Aram Bagh Club beat Bounce White Club in the Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai - Sindh Sports Board Cup Basketball Tournament 2021 matches played at International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court Aram Bagh Karachi.
According to KBBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan, in the first match, Nishtar Basketball Club defeated Usman Basketball Club by 53-41. Ali Chan Zeb from Fateh Nishtar Club played brilliantly with the help of 3 three pointers (25) while Talha Amjad (17) and Hamza Sheikh (12) for winners while for runners-up, Khawaja (13), Faizan Sheikh (10), Mohammad Danial Marwat (9) and Hassan Iqbal (9) played well.
In the second match of the day, Aram Bagh Club defeated Bounce White Club. Hassan Ali (15), Saad Salahuddin (12) and Obaid-ur-Rehman (10) played well for Aram Bagh Club while Khurram Dastgir (13), Saleem Chaudhry (10) and Mohammad Anas (10) did well for runners-up.
Assistant Commissioner Lyari Abdul Karim Memon graced the occasion as chief guest
The referees were Zahid Malik, Zafar Iqbal, Ashraf Yahya and Ghulam Muhammad Sneer. Before the match, Assistant Commissioner Lyari Abdul Karim Memon was introduced to both the teams. KBBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Legal Adviser Ghulam Abbas Jamal Advocate, international Muhammad Yaqub and others were also present on the occasion. Tournament chief organizer Ghulam Muhammad Khan has announced that the schedule of the tournament has been changed in view of the new situation in Corona.
