Bijli Ghar Mula laid to rest amid tight security


PESHAWAR - The funeral prayer of former leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) and Prominent religious scholar Maulana Mohammad Ameer alias Maulana Bijli Ghar was offered here at Qayum Stadium Peshawar on Monday.
His funeral prayer was offered amid tight security as thousands of people including leaders of various political parties visited Peshawar to participate in his funeral prayers. A large number of police had been deployed in Qayum Stadium to foil any sabotaging bid.
His funeral prayer was attended by JUI-F Central Vice Ameer Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, JUI-F central Leader Maulana Atta-ur-Rahman, Ameer JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shiekh Amanullah, Maulana Muhammad Qasim, JUI Provincial Information Secretary Abdul Jaleel Jan, Chairman Tehreek-e-Isteqlal Rahmat Khan Wardak, JUI-F MPA Mufti Kifayatullah and large number of his students and companion across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Maulana has left behind three sons and three daughters.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Central Leader Jamiat Ulema Islam and Patron-in-Chief Anjuman Quran-o-Sunnat Peshawar, Maulana Muhammad Amir alias Maulana Bijli Gar.
In his condolence message, addressed to his sons Maulana Muhammad Qasim and Yousuf, the chief minister paid rich tributes to him on his religious, knowledge and political services. He said that the deceased was a high ranked religious scholar and pluralist personality. The chief minister prayed for peace in heaven of the deceased and expressed solidarity with his relatives and followers.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausqar has also expressed his heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of the veteran religious scholar Maulana Muhammad Ameer Bijli Ghar.
In his condolence message on Monday, the Governor expressed his heartfelt sympathies with all members of the bereaved family.  He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
