Islamabad -Unprecedented in the recent history, the 14th National Assembly (NA) is going to welcome around 100 newly elected fresh lawmaker members who have for the first time made it to the national parliamentary history.

Among newly elected faces the upcoming ruling clique (PML-N) is at the top, PTI on the second position and MQM with around half of its total strength in National Assembly remained at third in the row.  According to the NA schedule, these are over 100 newcomer (if not in politics) including women members on reserved seat taking oath today.

On women reserved seats are Dr. Shireen Mizari, Shahzadi Umarzadi Tawana, Munaza Hasan and other fresh lawmakers.

It would also be not out of place to mention here that political dynasties also managed to make way to the parliament as the most of the kith and kin belonging to big dynasties, who were contesting against one another succeeded in keeping their seats within their families.

Several candidates representing famous castes including Khar, Gormani, Jatoi, Kanjo Waranar, Qaisrani, Leghari and others, whose family members have remained in assemblies, will also continue to represent ‘political dynasty’ from Southern Punjab.

These elections were interesting from different aspects as so many close relatives contested against each other in the election but assemblies’ seats in one way or the other remained within their homes.
