Bahawalpur - All steps will be taken to expedite development work including establishment of Bahawalpur Industrial Estate.
These views were expressed by Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Captain Muhammad Zafar Iqbal in the conference room of his office here on Monday. Presiding over the review meeting held regarding establishment of the estate, Commissioner Bahawalpur Division said that not only all possible facilities would be provided to investors for promotion of industry in Bahawalpur but also to industrialists and business community across the division. Measures will also be taken to encourage Bahawalpur to accelerate its industrial development and to create equal employment opportunities for local people through promotion of the industry.
Police trace 15 incidents
of murder, robbery
Bahawalpur police have traced 15 incidents of murder and robbery, besides arresting five murder accused. Motorcycles and cash worth lakhs of rupees have been recovered including jewelry.
According to details, under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and under the direction of IG Punjab Inam Ghani, District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Kamran is introducing the positive trends in policing using modern scientific technology. The DPO has instructed the police officers across the district that crime does not end with hiding but with tracing. To trace the crime incidents, the police officers across the district were given complete access to modern technology.
Police arrested Saghir, Safdar, Tanveer, Habib and Dilshad in murder case of Mithu Shah, who was killed by the accused, while Allah Rakha, Adnan and Fahad were arrested in cases of theft and robbery. 19 tola jewelry worth 14 lakhs, 14 stolen motorcycles and lakhs of rupees in cash were recovered.
