Pakistan betrayed by openers again

Brisbane- Pakistan plummeted to trouble after Sean Williams of Zimbabwe struck twice in an over dismissing Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi with not much on the scoreboard.

Struggling to keep the scoreboard ticking after a poor start losing out both openers early, Kamran Akmal and Misbah-ul-Haque were looking to steady Pakistan’s helm.

And with the quick dismissals of two batsmen, Pakistan, already on the verge of elimination from the World Cup 2015, will apparently defend a low total against Zimbabwe.

On the verge of elimination, Pakistan were struggling to score after a poor start against Zimbabwe in the 23rd match of the ICC cricket World Cup 2015 at Brisbane.

Zimbabwe bowlers were bowling a disciplined line and were successful in removing both openers Nasir Jamshed and Ahmed Shehzad early. Tendai Chatara claimed both wickets.

Haris Sohail was out to Sikandar Raza at a time when the scoring rate was below three at the verge of the 21st over. Zimbabwe were proving to be a good fielding side.

Pakistan have replaced Younis Khan with an extra bowler Rahat Ali. Solomon Mire and Tawanda Mupariwa were included to the Zimbabwe team in place of Stuart Matsikenyari and Tafadza kamungozi.
