Two sisters shot dead near Larkana

LARKANA - Two sisters were found shot dead in village Usman Shah near Larkana on Friday.

According to police, on information, the bodies of two sisters Raheela and Maqsooda were recovered from their house in village Usman Shah near Larkana and were shifted to a nearby hospital and later handed over to heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. The police said that the two sisters had been killed by their brother Irfan Jatoi as he had fled to unknown destination after committing the crime. Further investigation into the incident was being conducted by the concerned police.

Larkana police arrest over 50 for violating COVID SOPs

Police arrested over 50 persons including shopkeepers after their failure to implement SOPs issued by the provincial government for prevention of coronavirus. SSP Imran Qureshi, accompanied by police teams, conducted surprise raids on various places in Resham Gali, Shahi Bazaar, Pakistan Chowk, Station Road, Bunder Road, Royal Road, Jinnah Bagh roundabout, Bakrani Chowk, Gajanpur, Old Tank Chowk and other areas and arrested over 50 people for violating SOPs against COVID. 

 

In Naundero as well, DSP Shahjahan Shah and SHO Shahid Memon, accompanied by cops, forced the shopkeepers in Shahi Bazaar and Station Road to close down their business during which many of the visitors were also beaten and abused for not implementing SOPs.
