Unsung heroes

Evacuating people from a war torn country, where safety is not guaranteed, carries high risk, doing such an act is nothing short of heroics. According to news the crew, which operated this flight had volunteered for this act of valour. We have been highly critical of PIA for its mounting level of losses. These losses are a direct consequence of decades of political interference. At this moment, when PIA has done a great job, it must be appreciated, the same way as the crew had put its own life at risk, to save the lives of their brethren. I would like to request the decision makers to announce a civil award for bravery for the whole crew (i.e. not just the pilot and co-pilot). For a nation which is at war, such acts should not get unnoticed and deserve encouragement.
