Body of a seven-year-old boy was recovered from Karachi’s Stadium Road on Thursday.

According to the post-mortem report, the minor was killed after being sexually abused.

While speaking to media, MLO Civil Hospital Dr Shahid said that the minor had been strangled to death after he was sexually abused.

At New Town Police station a case has been registered and it includes charges of murder and kidnapping against unidentified persons.

Forensic teams have collected evidence from the site. Wire that was used to strangle the child along with his sandal have been recovered.

The father of the seven-year-old said the child was missing since Thursday afternoon.
