Nihal Hashmi shifted to hospital over ‘cardiac pain’

Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nihal Hashmi has been shifted to hospital after he complained pain in heart.

The jail officials took him to the Rawalpindi Cardiology Centre from Adiala Jail when he complained of severe pain in the chest.

Yesterday, the SC has rejected Nihal Hashmi’s plea for an unconditional apology and sentenced him one month in prison over contempt of court case.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Asif Khosa also disqualified him for five years and asked him to submit RS 50,000 as fine.
