Tight security for worship places

LAHORE - Following the apprehension of several people linked to Daesh, security forces in Punjab has decided to form new security plan to protect religious places of minorities in the province.
The law enforcement agencies also beefed up security of mosques, Imam Bargahs, Churches and other worship places in the provinces.
Police officials told Online that special task has been given at inter-provincial border under the light of information shared by intelligence agencies.
IG Punjab also ordered all SSPs of the provinces to direct mosques and Imam Bargahs to further tight up their private security in the light of the security concerns.
On first Sunday of the year, 200 Imam Bargahs and 112 churches have been declared sensitive.
18 district of the province have been divided into three parts and deployment of force procedures would be finalized today (Saturday). Rural and urban areas have been categorized differently for the security plan.
In order to make foolproof security, walk through gates should be installed at all sensitive places.
